The FTC has issued Green Guides for Environmental Marketing to address the many self-asserted claims that a particuluar product is "green" or "environmental friendly" or "biodegradable" or such claim. The problem is that the claims have become confusing to consumers and, unfornately, many have turned out to be unsupportable in fact.

Although the Guides are not enforceable regulations or uder the law, FTC has encouraged businesses to consider the guidelines when making such claims.

Are "green" claims crucial to the sales and marketing of your product? How have you substantiated claims? Do you use the FTC guidelines? Do you use third party certification? Which one?

Weathering the Recession

How has the recession affected your plant and your job? So far we have seen many clients who have had to take days and even weeks of unpaid leave just to keep the doors open and the lights on! Some have simply scaled back production. Some, unfortunately, have gone out of business.

Here we have allowed attrition to reduce the staff and have gone after overhead so that we can continue to offer the best quality services at lower prices.
